Count Financial has been praised by former AMP adviser Mary Benton for the impressive way that the CountPlus-owned licensee has supported her business.
Ms Benton is the founder of Plan4Wealth, a Pakenham-based financial advice business which was formerly with AMP Financial Planning and joined Count Financial in May 2021.
Speaking about her experience in the first few months as part of Count Financial’s adviser community, Ms Benton called out the professional, empathetic and helpful service that she had experienced to date.
“For us, the move to Count Financial is like comparing chalk and cheese. I have been impressed with their logical and professional approach, starting with the recruitment phase and then the onboarding process. The whole team went out of their way to respond promptly to my queries and find solutions to every one of my questions.”
She particularly highlighted Count Financial’s Professional Standards team for their dedicated approach to delivering valuable, client-focused outcomes.
“Going through the onboarding process, I started having real conversations with the Professional Standards team who are former financial planners themselves. They made it their mission to help me craft more meaningful Statements of Advice that actually reflected the conversations I had with my clients. Their coaching and support to get me through the prevet process was so enlightening. There was no carrot and stick approach, just high-quality coaching that was clear, prompt, respectful and very, very welcomed.”
Andrew Kennedy, Chief Advice Officer at Count Financial, said that he was pleased to hear Ms Benton’s positive feedback, given her standing in the advice community.
“Mary’s comments are great to hear because that’s exactly what we strive to achieve through the care, commitment and capability of our team. I could see her client focus from the first time we met so I’m delighted to have someone of her calibre with us at Count Financial.”
