About the Role:

We are in search of a Senior Accountant to lead and execute crucial accounting tasks for our clients. This role necessitates an individual who can blend a deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) with impeccable financial analysis skills. If you are detail-driven, organised, and thrive under pressure, we want to hear from you.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee accounting functions and programs.
  • Prepare detailed financial analyses and reports.
  • Forecast revenues and expenditures.
  • Aid in preparing and supervising budgets.
  • Ensure accurate balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Engage with and service our clients, always striving to surpass their expectations.
  • Efficiently manage current and upcoming workflow.
  • Address and resolve any account discrepancies and non-compliance issues.
  • Handle federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
  • Drive the creation and modification of accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
  • Support and mentor junior staff in their accounting tasks and responsibilities.

 

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
  • Exceptional financial analysis capabilities.
  • Stellar communication skills, both in writing and speech.
  • Demonstrated organizational and stress management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Proven experience in staff training and management.
  • An autonomous worker capable of performing with minimal supervision.
