Payday Super Starts From 1 July 2026
From 1 July 2026, employers must pay super guarantee contributions to employees’ super funds each payday, rather than quarterly.
This means employees’ super must be received by their super funds within seven business days of each payday. If payments are late, employers may be liable for the super guarantee charge and may lose the tax deduction for those contributions.
Count Gold Coast Bookkeeping can help you review payroll processes, update systems and schedule super payments so they reach funds on time under the new rules.
For guidance, contact the Count Gold Coast Bookkeeping team on 1300 667 897 or [email protected].
